PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a chromatogram for normally operating a fraction collector even if mass scanning is made while switching positive and negative polarities. SOLUTION: Mass scanning (S1 and S2) in a positive ion detection mode and mass scanning (S5 and S6) in a negative ion detection mode are alternately executed, mass spectrum data obtained by each mass scanning is added to obtain chromatogram data A(+) and A(-) for each of the positive and negative polarities (S4 and S8), and the data A(+) and A(-) with both the polarities are added as chromatogram data A (S9), thus averaging the chromatogram with both the polarities and hence obtaining a chromatogram in a normal shape even if both of them have a level difference. |
