The invention relates to a perforating device meant to be used in office activities, to perforate the sheets to be filed. According to the invention, the device comprises a proper perforator having a base plate (1) and a plate (6) pressing some drifts (5), and some paper guiding elements respectively, characterized in that the proper perforator is adjustably mounted on a supporting frame comprising two lateral fixed jaws (9) secured by means of some nuts to three cross rods with threaded ends (10, 11, 12) and in that two mobile jaws (13) slide along two cross rods with threaded ends (11, 12), said mobile jaws (13) being driven by two nuts (19, 20) located on a double-thread screw (17) whose heads rest on the ends of the lateral fixed jaws (9) and, on a driving roller (18) located on the double-thread screw (17), respectively.
