PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer system and an operating state setting method therefor, with which an operating mode can be transited without increasing the number of control input terminals and transition between operating modes can be accelerated by shortening time until operating state setting completion required for that operating mode transition. SOLUTION: When a CPU 100 is to execute a branch system instruction, in order to read the instruction data of the address of the skip destination again, instruction data on a program, which is abandoned without being used in spite of lookahead into an instruction queue buffer 103 according to instruction lookahead operation for high-speed operation execution, can be used as control signal inside the system. |
