SOLUTION: In a self-exciting power supply circuit in which a desired output voltage is obtained by supplying an inputted voltage to the primary coil of a transformer and by controlling the on off of a switching provided on the primary coil side in accordance with the output voltage generated at the secondary coil side of the transformer, the circuit is made up of an auxiliary coil Ls provided at the secondary side of the transformer and circuit means Q3, Q4, r9, r10 that add an auxiliary coil to the secondary side of the transformer to increase the number of windings of the secondary soil of the transformer in a power-saving operation.
