PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effect for reducing uneven rotation and also to provide superior image quality in respective speed modes even in an image forming device equipped with plural speed modes. SOLUTION: In a driving device, provided with a photoreceptor 10 fixed on a drive shaft 22 rotated by a drive motor, and an inertial rotating body attached to the shaft 22 and integrally rotating with the photoreceptor 10 so as to drive and rotate the photoreceptor 10 by switching two kinds of speed, the inertial rotating body is constituted of a 1st fly wheel 26 rotatably fixed on the drive shaft 22 and a 2nd fly wheel 27 with respect to the shaft 22. Then, it is equipped with an electromagnetic clutch 29 for integrally rotating them between the wheel 27 and the shaft 22. By engaging/disengaging the clutch 29 in accordance with the rotating speed of the photoreceptor 10, the strength of the inertial force acting on the photoreceptor 10 is switched to an optimum value. |
