PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a user of a dial-in line as to a private branch exchange having the dial-in line and a dial-in termination control method. SOLUTION: This private branch exchange whose channel switch part 1 accommodates the dial line 11, a line wire 12, and an extension 13 is equipped with a database 3b in which the passwords of users allowed to originate from the dial-in line 11 to at least charged lines (line wire and international line) are registered corresponding to the users, a password request means 5 which requests the password of a user at the time of incoming call through the dial-in line 11, a control part 2 which collates the password with passwords registered in the database 3b and allows origination service to a charged line for the user when the passwords match each other, and a telephone call recording part 3c which records telephone calls and passwords inputted from users under the control of the control part 2.
