PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate management of a multimedia file for data distribution. SOLUTION: As a multimedia file, real data are formatted to be embedded in a file structure thereof. Besides, this multimedia information is made into block unit composed of a header area and a data area, and made into hierarchical structure embedding a block within one block. As information of the header area, it has file name identification information (Block Name), child block data number identification information (Number of Child Blocks) and data length identification information (Data Length). Thus, the preparation/editing of the multimedia file is facilitated and high-speed data retrieval is provided. |
