PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which ensures both color forming property and shelf stability of a color image. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one coupler of formula (1) (where EWG is cyano, carbamoyl or alkoxycarbonyl; LG is a group which is released by coupling reaction with the oxidized body of a developing agent; L is a simple bond or a divalent combining group; R1 is an atomic group containing at least one selected from COOH, CONHSO2R3, SO2NHR3, SO2NHCOR3, NHSO2R3, SH and OH; (m) is an integer of 1-4; (n) is an integer of 0-3; and in the case of m>=2, symbols (R1-L) may be the same or different) in at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer disposed on a base.
