PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can enhance the user- friendliness of users of a receiving side and of a transmitting side, in the case of transmitting a magnified image. SOLUTION: Figure 1(a) indicates a transmitted image of an original to be transmitted. Let four letters 'A, B, C, D' be respectively described on quartered parts of one original as the image, then Figure 1(b) indicates the images which are to be transmitted. The transmitted images include in total five images consisting of the original image, having the 4 letters 'ABCD' prior to magnification and of the magnified images comprising letters 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D' at a multiple of 4. By using an optical image magnifying device the image of the original is magnified.
