PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type fluorescent lamp with reduced loss of light and improved strength of film at the part having a reflecting film. SOLUTION: A vessel 1 enclosing the material emitting ultra violet light is composed of the first member 10 and the second member 11, and a fluophor film 2 is formed on the inner surface of the first member 10, and a reflecting film 3 is formed on the outer surface of the second member 11 (discharging space side). By the above structure, two-layered structure of fluophor film and reflection film at conventional lamp is disused, consequently, the total thickness of film become thinner, the strength of film is improved and the loss of light is reduced.
