TREATMENT METHOD OF NON-BIODEGRADABLE INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER

PURPOSE: A treatment method of non-biodegradable industrial wastewater is provided, which can treat non-biodegradable industrial wastewater as well as leachate in a high efficiency by using iron perchlorate (Fe(ClO4)2) instead of ferrous sulfate (FeSO4) and ferrous chloride (FeCl2) which are conventionally used as Fenton reagents with the same or reduced consumption of hydrogen peroxide. CONSTITUTION: The method is as follows: (i) oxidation react organic matter using bivalent iron ion and hydrogen peroxide for treating industrial wastewater; (ii) feed iron perchlorate (Fe(ClO4)2) in solid or liquid state before adjusting the pH at 2.5-3.5 followed by feeding hydrogen peroxide, instead feeding of ferrous sulfate (FeSO4) and ferrous chloride (FeCl2), a Fenton reagent.
