PF POWER AMPLIFIER SYSTEM HAVING INDUCTIVE STEERING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF power amplifier system having inductive steering capable of directly driving a switching transistor(TR). SOLUTION: A bridge circuit has a first TR switch and a second TR switch. A switch driver sends RF pluses in order to turn on/off the first and second TR switches and allow a current from a DC voltage source to alternately flow in first and second directions through a load. A driver control circuit selectively applies turn-on signals to the switch driver so as to enable the switch driver to pass RF pulses to the transistor switches. The switch driver has first and second logic gates respectively connected to the first and second TR switches. First and second inductive steering circuits are respectively inserted between the first logic gate and the first TR switch and between the second logic gate and the second TR switch.
