PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel setting member and a display panel setting method which are free from causing distortion in a display panel even when a substrate constituting the display panel is deformed by heat and variation by aging. SOLUTION: Conventionally, an LCD spacer 83 is locked to the substrate 82 by a plurality of setting members 85 formed to a peripheral part. When the substrate 82 is deformed, any one of fixed claws 84 is used as a supporting point, the LCD spacer 83 is deformed, and, furthermore, an LCD 41 is deformed. So, the setting members 45 serving as the locking point of the substrate 42 and the LCD spacer 43 are provided only in the two central places and the interval is set to about 20 mm or less. Then, about two pin members are provided in the peripheral part. The pin member only abuts to the substrate 42, has a structure which is not locked, and prevents the LCD spacer 43 from inclining. |
