PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional multiplex broadcast receiver that the receiver fails to capture data relating to an audio service during reception of the audio service. SOLUTION: The multiplex broadcast receiver of this invention has a DAB tuner section 12 that receives a DAB broadcast signal resulting from multiplexing a PAD used to send a data service (1st data) relating to the audio service with a packet used to send a data service (2nd data) not related to the audio service, a DAB decoder section 14 and an MPEG decoder section 15 that extract the 1st and 2nd data in the DAB broadcast signal during reception, a display section 19 that outputs the 1st and 2nd data extracted by the DAB decoder section 14 and the MPEG decoder section 15 for display and a CPU 20 that outputs with priority the 1st data to the display section 19 for display out of the 1st ad 2nd data of the DAB broadcast signal during the reception.
