PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific area data transmitter that transmits prescribed data to a preset specific area to provide a service. SOLUTION: An access point 4 is placed in a private room 1 having an open/close door 2, and this access point 4 and a personal digital assistant terminal PDA are connected via a short distance wireless communication interface whose communication range is limited within the private room. Thus, a user carrying a PDA enters the private room and the user can access the Internet with a WWW browser software program installed in the PDA so as to attain data transmission with a high added value within the specific area.
