PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in current consumption in a standby state of a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is provided with a wireless section 102, that conducts a reception operation to receive data and to output the received data in data reception timing appeared at a prescribed time for a prescribed period, a CPU 108 that analyzes the receive data, a reference oscillator 103, that generates a clock used when the wireless section 102 conducts the reception, and a control section 107. The control section 107 turns off the power supply of the wireless section 102 in data reception end timing which is completion timing of the data reception timing, supplies the clock generated by the reference oscillator 103 to the CPU 108 for its operating clock, so as to allow the CPU 108 to analyze the received data.
