A biological information rating device (10) comprising a waveform parameter detection unit (14), a correspondence relation storing unit (26), and blood vessel rating information delivering unit (30). The waveform parameter detection unit (14) detects waveform parameters such as a postsphygmic interval pressure ratio or an incisure pulse height ratio based on a pulse-wave waveform. The correspondence relation storing unit (26) stores a pre-delivered correspondence relation between blood vessel rating information and the above parameters. The blood vessel rating information delivering unit (30) delivers blood vessel rating information based on waveform parameters detected by the detection unit (14) and the correspondence relation. The detection unit (14) comprises a pulse wave sensor (18) for detecting a pulse-wave waveform and a waveform parameter computing unit (22) for computing waveform parameters from a pulse-wave waveform. |
