A connector (C) comprising a plurality of coil spring contacts (1), and an insulation holder (2) for holding the coil spring contacts (1) in spaced relations to each other, each coil spring contact (1) comprising a pair of end coil portions (10) abutting against one connection electrode (6c), and a central coil portion (12) radially biased between these end coil portions (10) to abut against the other connection electrode (5c), the holder (2) having openings allowing the abutting portions of the contacts (1) to project outward, the holder (2) being arranged to control axial deformation and movement of the contacts (1) and allow elastic deformation thereof in the bias direction.
