<p>A highly sound-absorbing fibrous sheet which is usable in a wide range of applications including, for example, a sound-proofing cover for pipings in buildings, a lining for domestic electrical appliances or vehicles, and an interior material for houses. The sheet is characterized in that a polymer containing an active ingredient serving to increase dipole moment is adherent to the surface of the constituent fibers of the fibrous sheet or is adherently present among the constituent fibers. It has high sound-absorbing properties which are not possessed by any conventional sound-absorbing sheet.</p> |
