PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical thin plate steel member increasing buckling strength resisting a high axial force and bending moment. SOLUTION: Plastic foam 13 is filled and hardened in an inner side 11a of the thin plate steel member 11 forming a thin plate steel member 10 and formed by a square close cross section form. This thin plate steel member 11 is formed so as to have a composite structure with the plastic foam 13 to restrain buckling deformation of the thin plate steel member 11.
