PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket for a hydraulic backhoe, which not only has a large number of functions such as digging, gripping, collecting and the like by the same bucket but also can be operated efficiently in response to the conditions of a field in the case or the like of the different width of operation objects. SOLUTION: A sliding drive mechanism 60 opening and closing a movable bucket 30 to a fixed bucket 20 and a rotary drive mechanism 70 are installed to a base section 10 formed so as to be mounted and demounted to and from a boom 51 for the hydraulic backhoe 50. The sliding drive mechanism 60 is constituted so that the movable bucket 30 is moved linearly by the first driving source 62 and brought near or separated to or from the fixed bucket 20, and the rotary drive mechanism 70 is mounted at the site of a linear motion by the sliding drive mechanism 60 while being configured so that the movable bucket 30 is opened and closed and turned to the fixed bucket 20 by the second driving source 71 apart from the first driving source 62.
