PURPOSE: A retaining wall drain device is provided to promptly and smoothly drain water, to prevent the intrusion of soil and sand into an inlet of a drainage pipe, to prevent traffic jams by draining water through a drainage channel, and to prevent the staining and aging of the surface of the retaining wall. CONSTITUTION: A retaining wall drain device includes a gabion(10) of a prescribed size installed at an inlet(1a) of a drainpipe(1) disposed at an upper end of the retaining wall, to concentrate water toward the inlet of the drainpipe. An outlet(1b) of the drainpipe is located at a front and lower end of the retaining wall, i.e., in the inside of a drainage channel(50) installed at road sides, and thereby water is directly drained to the drainage channel.
