PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-pack type coating composition containing an acrylic resin containing an epoxy group and a phosphoric acid or an acidic phosphoric ester, containing no toxic curing agent, having a long usable time after painting, and emitting no formaldehyde, and improved in water resistance and adhesion with substrate, preferably with a metal substrate. SOLUTION: This two-pack type coating composition comprises an acrylic resin for paint (A) comprising an epoxy group functional polymerizable monomer (a), a hydrolyzable silyl group functional polymerizable monomer (b), and a vinyl monomer and/or a (meth)acrylic monomer (c), as essential components, and a phosphoric (ester) curing agent (B).
