PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the detaching surface of a detachable submerged pump capable of preventing pressure from leaking during the operation of the pump by tightly abutting the delivery port of the pump on the peripheral surface of a water feed port normally provided in a tank. SOLUTION: The delivery port 6 of detachable submerged pump is formed as a side open type opposed to a side opening type water feed port normally provided in a tank, a flange F for seal packing installation is installed on the peripheral surface of the delivery port 6, and a seal packing 10 formed slightly smaller in inner diameter than the flange F is installed to form an annular pressure receiving edge 10e on the inner periphery of the delivery port 6 and the front part of the pressure receiving edge 10e is projected slightly from the surface of the flange F. When the detachable submerged pump is lowered along a lifting guide, the projected surface part of the seal packing 10 is made into close contact with the peripheral surface of the water feed port.
