PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seatbelt take-up device capable of reducing both withdrawing force and winding force of the seatbelt with the seatbelt mounted. SOLUTION: This take-up device 2 is equipped with a main spring 10 to energize a winding shaft 16 in a seatbelt winding direction (a), a spring clutch 25 to transmit the rotation of the winding shaft 16 in the withdrawal direction (b) of the seatbelt to a ring 14, an auxiliary spring 14 capable of giving rotative energizing force opposite to that of the main spring 10 to the winding shaft 16 and the like, and thereby, reduction of both withdrawing force and winding force is materialized with the seatbelt mounted.
