PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow one worker to perform the work for mounting a decorative body on the roof gable side to be mounted in a tip part of an end part on the end side of a gable roof simply and in a short time. SOLUTION: This decorative body 1 consists of an upper decorative body 1A provided with a suspension face 8A and a joining piece 9A additionally along lower end fringe parts of a covered face 3A on the upper side of gable and a covered face 4A on the upper side of a front face and a lower decorative body 1B provided with a suspension face 8A and a joining piece 9B along upper end fringe parts of a covered face 3B on the lower side of the gable and a covered face 4B on the lower side of the front face additionally. The joining pieces 9A, 9B are mutually overlapped to form a groove part 13 in a covered face 3 of the gable and a covered face 4 of the front face, and the joining pieces 9A, 9B are fixed in only a part in the covered face 3 of the gable so that a groove part in the covered face 4 of the front face can be divided vertically and the covered face 3 of the gable can be elastically deformed like a dog leg shape to cover brackets 21 simply.
