PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two systems of braking devices capable of working independently as a braking device for a trailer, with a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The trailer is equipped with an inertia brake device comprising a counter lever 4 rotated by the inertia of the trailer relative to a tow car, a brake lever 9 for an inertia brake, and a brake wire 5 for the inertia brake to connect the counter lever 4 to the brake lever 9 for the inertia brake, and a parking brake device comprising an operating lever 6, a brake lever 10 for the parking brake, and a brake wire 7 for the parking brake to connect the operating lever 6 to the brake lever 10 for the parking brake is mounted to the trailer. The brake lever 9 for the inertia brake and the brake lever 10 for the parking brake rotate independently and thereby, a brake shoe 16 is pressed onto a brake plate 11 in order to apply braking.
