PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide damping equipment wherein the cost can be reduced because the overall production is easy but also a very high buckling strength can be assured and the damper performance can be set feely and, under all use conditions, the predetermined damper performance can be definitely realized by this damping device. SOLUTION: In a multi-laminated type damper device, only both the right and left side plates 1 and 1 at one end side member of damper are constituted from cannel steel, or upper and lower coupling plates 2 and 2 and intermediate plates 3 only are constituted to one united body from H-shaped steel, or both the right and left side plates 1 and 1, upper and lower coupling plates 2 and 2 and an intermediate plate 3 are constituted with a combination of channel steel and H-steel, and others are constituted from flat steel plate, and both the end portions of both and flange portions of H-type steel or both the end flange portions 1f and 1f of channel steels 1 and 1 or the end portion of both the flange portions of the H-shaped steel is respectively arranged to project outwardly in attitude in the configuration.
