PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize energy saving and to improve fuel consumption performance and emission performance on a fuel pump control device of a marine internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Two pieces of fuel pumps are arranged in parallel on a fuel supply system, both of them are driven (on) (S22, S24) at the time when they are in a high load state, and only one of them is driven (on) (S28) when they are not in the high load state. Additionally, abnormality detection of the fuel pump is carried out (S18), change-over treatment is carried out (S26) in the case when the one fuel pump is driven, and the fuel pump is changed every time when an engine starts. |
