PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding an optical member to an adherend with an ultraviolet-curing adhesive without detriment to the surface precision inherent in the optical member by eliminating a dispersion of the illuminances of ultraviolet rays with which the adhesive is irradiated. SOLUTION: In bonding an optical member 1 to an ultraviolet-transmitting adherend 3 with an ultraviolet-curing adhesive 2, the step of bonding the member 1 to the adherend 3 with the adhesive 2 is performed after ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet light source 4 are allowed to transmit an ultraviolet filter medium 6 to correct the ultraviolet rays impinging on the adherend 3 and the ultraviolet rays that transmit the adherend 3 are confirmed to be uniform in illuminance.
