PURPOSE: A method for providing a multi-channel service in an RAS(Remote Access Server) is provided to receive the multi-channel service in a same RAS equipment when a plurality of calls are connected with a different RAS equipment. CONSTITUTION: If a call setting is completed(S2), an ISDN-B channel is connected with a sub-highway by call information of a subscriber(S3). A PPP(Point to Point Protocol) connection is performed on the ISDN-B channel according to each channel(S4). A call connection acknowledge message for informing the corresponding call connection is generated and the generated call connection acknowledge message is transmitted to a trunk line matching unit(S5). It is confirmed whether an ISDN connection is performed(S6). If the ISDN connection is performed and a subscriber transmits a multi-channel PPP call through a secondary B-channel, the transmission of the multi-channel PPP call is recognized(S8). It is confirmed whether a primary ML(Multi Link) call connected with a secondary call when being connected with an MLPPP exists in an other system(S9). If the primary ML call connected with the secondary call does not exist in a current system, a corresponding system requests a call conversion to a switch through a PRI(Primary Rate Interface) matching unit(S10). The corresponding system receives a response message to the call conversion request(S11) and transmits MLPPP procedure information to the secondary call to a system having the primary time slot(S12). The switch releases a call with the system for assigning the secondary time slot(S13). If the primary ML call connected with the secondary call exists in the current system, MLPPP procedure information to the secondary call is received and the operation of the MLPPP call connection is performed in same RASs(S14), and an MLPPP link is set for providing the multi-channel service(S15).
