<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of estimating a combined rotary motion and the like of a target and automatically expanding/contracting a radar image in matching the radar image and a dictionary image. SOLUTION: This device comprises means 1, 2 for estimating the inclination of an axis of the target and Doppler width on the radar image, a means 3 for restricting a cross range axial vector of the radar image based on a position relation of the target and a radar viewed from a target tracking result 507 and the inclination of the axis of the target on the radar image, a means 5 for obtaining a cross range length characteristic of actual dimension in the cross range direction of each candidate for the target from shape data 512 of each candidate for the target, a means 509 for estimating an aspect angle of the target from positions of the target and the radar device and the traveling direction of the target, a means 4 for determining a picture plane for the radar image from the results of means 2, 3, 5, a means 510 for calculating a distribution of a three-dimensional radar reflection cross section RCS of the candidate of the target from the shape data of each of the candidates for the target and the aspect angle of the target, a means 7 for producing an identification dictionary image for each candidate for the target from the distribution of RCS and the picture plane, and a means 506 for displaying the dictionary image together with the radar image 505.</p> |
