PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect depression force without using an auxiliary mechanism to accurately input the depression force. SOLUTION: A brake operating body 18 provided with a depression surface 18a to be applied with depression force is movably linked to a base part 14 fixed to the vehicle side by a load linking mechanism 17. A load cell 15 to detect the depression force is fixed to the base part 14, and the brake operating body 18 is movably supported by its beam 21 through a load transmitting mechanism 17. A load corresponding to the depression force applied to the depression surface 18a is transmitted to the beam 21, and the beam 21 is deflectedly deformed as much as a displacement quantity corresponding to the depression force of the beam 21 in order to detect the depression force.
