PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic liquid storage facility comprising a cooler which can be replaced by a cooler of large open cooling tower type. SOLUTION: A facility 2 for storing/gasifying/supplying cryogenic liquid, e.g. LNG, is additionally provided with an LNG bypass section 4. A heat exchanger 30 containing intermediate medium 31 exchanges heat between LNG flowing through the LNG bypass section 4 and cooling water for a heat generating unit 57 to rob heat from the cooling water. Furthermore, heat exchanging amount is regulated by operating an LNG flow rate regulation valve 44 based on the water temperature measured by a water temperature meter 60 so that the cooling water can be prevented from freezing.
