摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse tube refrigerator difficult to allow a decrease in a refrigerating capability when operated. SOLUTION: A cold stage connects a cool storage unit to a pulse tube at low temperature ends to each other to communicate with an inner cavity in the tube via a gas channel in the storage unit. A gas compressor sucks a working gas from a suction port, compresses the sucked working gas and discharges the working gas from a discharge port. A valve mechanism is connected to the discharge port, the suction port and the high-temperature end of the storage unit. The mechanism can take a gas recovery state for communicating with the high-temperature end of the storage unit via the suction port and a gas supply state for communicating with the hightemperature end of the storage unit via the discharge port. An impure gas adsorbing means is inserted between the discharge port of the compressor and the mechanism to adsorb impure gas having a larger molecular weight than that of the gas.
