An electronically controlled sample warper having a yarn exchanging mechanism is provided which comprises a rotary creel (7) supporting a plurality of bobbins (100a-100c) around which different kinds and/or the same kind of yarns (22a-22c) are wound and a bobbin station (102) supporting a plurality of bobbins (100a-100c) on which different kinds and/or the same kind of yarns (22a-22c) are wound in a standby state. With this construction, it is possible to employ various kinds of yarns and perform yarn exchanging thereof unlimitedly, thus enabling various pattern warping to be freely performed with the reduced warping time. <IMAGE>
