PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation fireproof construction in which only a relatively small clearance is required between a base isolation means and fireproof coating material, and in which residual deformation is not generated in the fireproof coating material after an earthquake. SOLUTION: In this base isolation fireproof construction 1 provided between a lower structure 101 and an upper structure 102, a base isolation means 10 to support the upper structure in a movable condition to the lower structure 101, and reduce earthquake load transmitted from the lower structure 101 to the upper structure 102, and fireproof coating material 11 covering the outer circumference of the base isolation means 10 are provided, where the fireproof coating material 11 is provided with such flexibility that deformation of the base isolation means 10 can be followed, and that deformation of the base isolation means 10 will not be prohibited.
