PURPOSE: A burglarproof system for an automobile is provided to prevent automobile theft by mounting a locking assembly to prevent the manipulation and release of a hand brake in a braked condition. CONSTITUTION: A burglarproof system for an automobile includes a locker(4) for controlling manipulation of a hand brake(1) using a key(16). The locker has a locking assembly(5) mounted in the inside of a push button(3) and locked and released by the key. The locking assembly has an operation bar(6) having a projection(7), thereby selectively inserted and locked into a guide part(10), which is formed in a guide hole(9) of an operation button(8) connected by a braking device and an operation cable, by the locking and releasing action of the locking assembly. The push button has a guide rod(11) elastically connected with a spring(12), thereby being slidingly guided into a guide hole(13) of the operation button. |
