<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for taking pictures by reducing the size and weight of a measuring instrument for motion/behavior of a ball, and to enhance the clarity of the pictures taken. SOLUTION: This motion measuring instrument 10 is made by connecting a CCD camera 11, which includes a repeatedly releasable multiple shutter 11b, flash lights 13-1 to 13-4, and a sensor 14 for measuring striking speed, to an arithmetic and control unit 16. In measurement, the sensor 14 outputs a trigger signal for releasing the shutter, when it detects the passage of a golf club, the camera 11 repeatedly releases the shutter 11b on receiving the signal, white the flash lights 13-1 to 13-4 successively emit light which is synchronized with the release, thus taking a plurality of pictures, of the struck golf ball 31 sprinting out within an image frame.</p> |
