PURPOSE: A booster for directional antenna and an operation method of the same are provided to improve a communication efficiency by finding a base station in service to adjust a direction of antenna. CONSTITUTION: A pilot finder antenna(21) detects direction of a base station accessing a communication channel in a radio section between the base station and a mobile station. A main antenna(22) transmits/receives a signal between the base station and the mobile station. The first and the second antenna driving unit(23,24) control the antennas(21,22) toward the base station direction. A booster(25) amplifies the signal received from the antennas(21,22) and notifies a control unit(26) of an intensity of the received signal. The control unit(26) calculates an intensity of a received power detected in the booster(25) to control the first and the second antenna driving unit(23,24), and adjusts the angles of the antennas(21,22) so that the antennas(21,22) are in the most efficient direction.
