PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method capable of effectively cutting a braking surface of a wheel bearing device having a brake rotor. SOLUTION: A reference surface 4a in one side of a vehicular body mounting flange 4 provided on an external member 1 of a wheel bearing device is allowed to on a positioning piece 36b of a positioning member 36 to be positioned. The cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the external member 1 is clipped by a chuck device. By moving forward push rods 43 and 50 of a first pressurizing device 24 and a second pressurizing device 25, a track member 2b and a hub ring 2a forming an internal member 2 are pressed in an axial direction to be a mounted state. By rotating the push rod 50 of the second pressurizing device 25, the internal member 2 and a brake rotor 13 are rotated, and a cutting tool 65 is moved in parallel with the standard surface 4a to cut the braking surface 13a of the brake rotor 13. |
