PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand blowing device in a core molding machine with which the pressure loss of compressed air from an air tank to a sand storing vessel can be lowered. SOLUTION: This device is peculiarly provided with the sand storing vessel which is constituted of a hollow chamber disposed so as to be horizontally and vertically shiftable and has a core sand supplying hole at the upper end and a core sand spouting nozzle at the lower end and stores the core sand for a while, an air exhaust valve which is fitted to the upper part of the sand storing vessel and exhausts residual compressed air in the sand storing vessel, a compressed air storing vessel which is disposed so as to be possible to ascend/ discend in the upper part of the sand storing vessel at just above a metallic mold and stores the compressed air for a while and has a compressed air exhaust hole, connectable to the core sand supplying hole in the sand storing vessel when the vessel is descended, at the lower end, and an air exhaust switching means which is fitted to the compressed air storing vessel and opens/ closes the compressed air exhaust hole.
