PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unfair acts by securely keeping an open/close door in the closed condition in a game ball winning device for catching game balls by tilting the open/close door forward by the operation of a solenoid on a game board of a pachinko machine. SOLUTION: The open/close door 7 is supported at a pivot 8 mounted parallel and nearly horizontal to the surface of the game board 2 of the pachinko machine in such a way that the open/close door can be erected/tilted. A damper piece 11 is rotatably supported at a support shaft 14 crossing the surface of the game board nearly at right angles. The damper piece is rotated by a solenoid 15 and has a function of locking the open/close door in the erected condition by engaging with an engaging part 9 projecting on the rear side of the open/close door and also a function of allowing the open/close door to be tilted forward by releasing the lock.
