PURPOSE:To facilitate the irradiation of a narrow part, deep part, etc., with a laser by suppressing the abnormal heating by the laser beam in the juncture between an optical fiber for transmission and a fiber probe. CONSTITUTION:This laser treating device has the optical fiber 20 for transmission which transmits the laser beam from a laser beam source and the fiber type probe 1 having the fiber probe 11 which is coupled to the front end of this optical fiber 20 attachably and detachably to and from a laser handpiece 2 and introduces the transmitted laser beam to a body to be irradiated. Further, the fiber probe 11 is constituted of the optical fiber separate from the optical fiber 20. A cooling chamber 260 which cools the light exit end 21 of the optical fiber 20 and the light incident end 13 of the probe part 11 and the circumference thereof is formed near the light exit end 21 and the light incident end 13. |
