<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately form uniform lateral perforations on continuous paper moving continuously in accordance with variable speed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a laser source (1) for pulsatively generating a laser beam (2), means (6, 8) for scanning the laser beam on a sheet (9) at roughly equal speed along a prescribed scanning plane, means (11, 12) for changing a scanning angle, and a control means (7) that initially sets the time base output characteristics of the laser source on the basis of the characteristics of the equal scanning speed and the sheet and that controls the scanning angle in accordance with a change in the moving speed of the sheet.</p> |
