PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which can perform recording operation matching the print purpose of a user efficiently, and an image recorder which does not perform recording operation not matching the print purpose of the user and does not disturb recording operation of other person. SOLUTION: A decision is made whether the type of a recording medium designated by a user matches the type of a recording medium detected at a recording medium judging section, and when a decision is made that they do not match each other, recording data containing information concerning to the type of the recording medium designated by the user is discarded. |
