The invention relates to a system and a method for providing vehicle diagnostic/repairing information using internet based service. The system comprises a vehicle communicating system for communicating with control units which are provided with the vehicle and are storing information regarding current vehicle status, a user system having user interface to be connected with an internet using on-line network, and an information center system for analysing the information regarding current vehicle status and for providing a user with diagnostic/repairing information through on-line network.
