STREAKS-FREE DEEP-DRAWING POLYAMIDE FILM OF HIGH TRANSPARENCY, METHOD OF OBTAINING SAME AND APPLICATION THEREOF AS A PACKAGING MATERIAL

Production of a deep-drawable film comprising at least one polyamide layer containing solid anisotropic filler particles comprises producing the polyamide layer by melting the polymer, extruding the melt through a fishtail die, and cooling and solidifying the melt in at least 0.1 seconds on a rotating roll having a temperature of no more than 70[deg]C. An independent claim is also included for a deep-drawable film comprising at least one polyamide layer which: (a) contains solid anisotropic filler particles having a number-average dimension (d1) of no more than 10 nm in one direction (r1) and a number-average dimension which is at least 50 times d1 in at least one direction perpendicular to r1; and (b) has a spherulitic structure in which the number-average distance between individual spherulites is no more than 50 nm and the nuclei of most of the spherulites are not formed by filler particles.
