Clamp for a cable or pipe, comprising a bottom shell and a top shell, in whi ch shells the sides facing each other are provided with a recess for accommodating at least one cable or one pipe. The underside of the bottom shell provides for a flat support surface, and the top shell has a substantially outward curved top surface. T he top side of the top shell is provided with a flat supporting surface, which runs parallel to the support surface of the bottom shell.
