PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a information card for receiving broadcast and a digital broadcast receiver by which each user can realize viewing by its own preferred setting, without requiring troublesome operations. SOLUTION: An IC card 16A (16B, 16C) stores information to allow the digital broadcast receiver 30 to regulate output video image and/or output sound, information used for selecting/acquiring information required to generate an EPG menu, and personal information such as information or the like related to program reservation in addition to information required for viewing a pay digital broadcast program. A system controller 13 reads personal information set by a user from an IC card, loaded to a CA module 16 and conducts processing utilizing the personal information such as video image adjustment, audio adjustment, EPG menu generating processing, and reserved program reception processing on the basis of program reservation setting contents.
